HISTORYThis elderly man is Mr John Barclay Snr taken when he was 93 years of age. The baby is his great grandson, Garry Peters. Written in blue pen on a piece of writing paper and glued to the back of the photograph is: “Mr John Barclay. Snr & Garry Peters. Great Grandson. 1945”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows an elderly man with white hair and beard sitting on a cane chair holding a baby. The man is dressed in a suit with his shirt buttoned up to the neck. He has a serious expression on his face and is looking at the camera. The baby is dressed in light coloured clothes and appears to be asleep. Untidy grass is in the foreground and a large pine tree in in the background.
