HISTORY

This photo was taken in April, 2002 of the old Hastings Fire Brigade building in King Street. This information is written on the back of the photograph. The building was due to be demolished. The Hastings Fire Brigade built new premises in High Street.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows the front and part of a side wall of a white coloured building. It has a galvanised iron roof and green painted guttering. A large glass-panelled door is across the front of the building with a triangular piece of wall above it. A light is over the door. A dark blue coloured sedan motor car is parked at the front of the building. A steel post and guard rail is in the foreground. A large tree is behind a wooden fence on the left-hand side of the image. Part of a green roof can be seen behind the tree. A yellow shrub and a green creeper are in the foreground.
