HISTORY

This bullock team is taking part in the annual Hastings Day street parade. The Hastings Western-Port Historical Society hired this team of bullocks to pull the Armstrong Gun.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a group of bullocks standing on a street. The bullock on the left is being patted by a woman. She is smiling for the camera and wearing a black top and black, red and blue patterned skirt. Branches of a large tree are above the cattle. People and motor vehicles can be seen behind the cattle. Give Way and children’s crossing signs are on the left-hand side of the street. Electricity poles and trees are on the left-hand side of the street and more trees can be seen in the distance.
