HISTORYThis photo is of the Hastings Holy Trinity Choir taken along the side of the Church. the vicar was the Rev Eva. The induction for the Reverend Bernard Charles Alfred Eva took place on 03/12/1909. He was farewelled from this position on 25/02/1912. His brother, the Reverend Cyril Herbert Vyvyan Eva was inducted on 28/02/1912. He remained at the Hastings Holy Trinity Church until 26/04/1914 when he left Hastings for England.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a group of twenty-seven men and women of all ages, posing for a photograph outside a church building. There are six men standing on a form in the back row, eleven men and women standing in the middle row and nine women sitting in the front row. A young woman is half lying on a rug at the front. Everyone is beautifully dressed. All the women have long dresses with long sleeves and high necklines and collars. The men are all dressed in three piece suits with fob chains. An older man in the middle row has a white beard and moustache. The men, either side of him, are both ministers of the church. The wall of the church is weatherboard with four church windows along its length.
