HISTORY

This is one of a series of Rose Post Cards taken of the Mornington Peninsula. It shows a section of the Dromana-Rosebud Road. Printed on the back is: “Post Card Real Photo The “Rose” Series De Luxe Produced in Australia Published by “The Rose Sterographs Armadale Victoria”. A rose is stamped in the centre on the back of the postcard.

DESCRIPTION

This faded postcard shows a road running between native trees and shrubs with a hill rising on the right-hand side of the image. A row of electricity posts run alongside the right-hand side of the road. The background has faded away. Printed along the bottom of the postcard is: “The Rose Series P.1019 Copyright The Dromana-Rosebud Road, Victoria”.
