HISTORYThis is a photograph of the Malouf family. They are from left: Ethel Malouf, Charles Malouf, Nazela Malouf and Roy Malouf. Roy was born in 1917 and Ethel was born in 1919. The photograph was taken at Crib Point and is from the Arthur Peterson Collection. This information is written on pencil on the back.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a group of four people sitting on a sofa, posing for a photo. They are all smiling for the camera. The young woman on the left is wearing a long sleeved dress with pin tucks above and below the waist line. She is wearing a necklace and has thick, black wavy hair. The man beside her is older and is wearing a three piece suit, white shirt, tie and a fob chain. The older woman beside him is wearing a dark coloured, long sleeved dress with a brooch at the neck. She has dark, thick hair and her hands are clasped on her lap. The young man on the right is wearing a dark jacket, light trousers, shirt and tie. He has black wavy hair. Part of the ‘dots and lines’ pattern on the sofa can be seen behind them.
