HISTORYThis shows the pier at Hastings and is one of a series of Rose postcards taken of the Mornington Peninsula. Printed on the back is: “Post Card A Real Photograph Produced in Australia”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a pier jutting out into the water with a sandy foreshore in the foreground. Boats are on either side of the pier and several people are walking along it. Power lines are running alongside the pier between four tall white poles. Part of a shed is visible on the far left-hand side of the image. Land and trees can be seen in the distance. Printed across the bottom is: “The Rose Series P.10375 Copyright The Pier, Hastings, Vic.”
