HISTORY

This photograph is of the pier at Hastings with the fishing shed on the left. The tanks across the bay are gas containers.

DESCRIPTION

This is a photograph of a pier with a shed in the left foreground and a small shed at the other end of the pier. A power pole, which has a small box attached, is in the centre of the image. Boats are tired up on the right-hand side and a large ‘caution’ sign is on a post at the water’s edge. A tall crane can be seen beyond the pier and trees with four large tanks are to the left of the crane.
