HISTORY

This is a photograph of the Hastings pier taken looking back at the town.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a pier with three people standing together in the centre of the image. A shed is on the left-hand end of the pier. Fishing nets are handing on a rail in the foreground. A small section of the upper and lower rail can be seen between the nets. A part of several boats is visible above the nets and motor vehicles are parked in front of the shed on the far left-hand side. Buildings and trees are in the background.
