HISTORY

This is the wedding photo of Douglas Maxwell Thompson and Constance Rogan taken in wartime 1940. Douglas Maxwell Thompson became the first Hastings Shire president on 19/10/1960. Written on the back of the photo in red biro is: “Wedding Day Wartime 1940 the the ex-Shire of Hastings 1st President and 1st Lady - Doug Thompson & Constance Thompson nee Rogan”.
