HISTORY

This women are the staff of the Hastings Post Office. They are standing outside the Hastings Hall. Their names are, left to right: May Goss, Daphne Druis, Mrs Filmer, Fay Moyford and Fay Glover. This photograph comes from the Goss Collection.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows five women standing outside a building posing for a photo. They are all smiling for the camera. An older woman wearing spectacles and a print dress, is in the centre. The other four women are very young. The girl on left is wearing a dark coloured skirt and a two tone pullover with short sleeves. The next girl is wearing a print dress and a dark coloured cardigan. The next young woman is wearing a plain, light coloured dress with a white collar and the girl on the far right is wearing a black skirt, white blouse and a cardigan.
