HISTORYThis cottage belonged to Bill Noble and was built in 1862. It was destroyed by fire in 1923. It was situated on the Tyabb-Tooradin Road, opposite Thornell Lane. The pines in the background are Norfolk pines. The names of the men are as follows: left to right: Mr Falkner (in white apron), Bill Noble, Jasper King (with cape), Herb Noble, John Thornell, William Thornell, Mr Houfe and Mr Brunning. DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a group of men standing outside a wattle and daub cottage with a thatched roof, posing for a photo. There are four men and a dog on the left-hand side of the cottage and three men on the right-hand side. There is man standing in the doorway and a set of windows on either side. A large chimney is at the back of the cottage. Tall pine trees are behind the cottage and part of a tree can be seen in the foreground on the left-hand side.
