HISTORYThis is the home of Celena Peterson, who is on the left of the photo. She ran the Post Office from her house from 1939 to 1941. The man in uniform is Peter Peterson. This photograph is from the E. Barnes Album.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a group of three men, two women and two children standing outside a weatherboard house, posing for a photo. Both women are dressed in black. The woman on the left is tiny and wearing spectacles. The other woman is tall and is wearing a hat. The two men on the left are wearing three piece suits, hats and coats. The other man is wearing a uniform. The little boy and girl are wearing dark coats above the knee and shoes and socks. A panelled door is behind the group and windows can be seen on either side. A letter box is attached to the wall on the left-hand side of the building. Shrubs are on either side of the group.
