HISTORYThis railway station is at Stony Point on the Western Port. The photograph was taken in January 2001.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows part of a yellow car and a brown car parked in a car park in front of a railway station. The station has a red iron roof with a wide undercover verandah at its front. There is a curved platform and curved rail line which terminates at the car park. Tall electricity light poles line the platform and cars can be seen parked in the distance. Power poles stand on the far left-hand side of the image and run along behind the station. Buildings and another car are on the left-hand side. White guard posts are in the foreground and a signpost which reads: “V/LINE Car Park Patrons Only”. Trees and scrubs are in the background and on either side of the rail line.
