HISTORY

This couple is Adolph and Daisy Peterson. Adolph was a fisherman at Stony Point and also worked on a number of fishing and crayfishing vessels. He drove the ferry during the off season for fishing. The photograph comes from the E. Barnes Album.

DESCRIPTION

This image is a portrait of a man and woman taken from the waist up. The man is wearing a white shirt buttoned at the neck, a waistcoat and coat. A fob chain is attached to the waistcoat. The woman is wearing a short sleeved dress with a round neck. Lace is around the neck and sleeves. She is wearing a dark coloured hat. She has a smile on her face. A galvanized iron rainwater tank and shrubs are in the background.
