HISTORYThis is the Stony Point Pier and the photograph comes from the Wal Steer Collection and from Doug Mentiplay.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a jetty stretching out into the water, starting at the centre, left-hand side of the image and disappearing into the distance. A building can be seen at the far end. Two people can be seen in the distance on the jetty. The tide is low as most of the structure is out of the water. Large stones are in the foreground.
