A petrol bowser is in front of the garage on the far right-hand side and a ladder can be seen behind the bowser leaning against the garage. Branches of a large tree can be seen on the far left-hand side.

HISTORY

Reg Peterson built this garage at Stony Point in 1924 on the reserve west of Stony Point Railway station. Reg charged 2/6d a day to look after cars for ferry passengers in the garage. He built his house next door to the garage in 1928. This photograph comes from the Arthur Peterson Collection.
