HISTORYThis group of children are from the Tyabb Primary School, No. 3129. They are planting trees at Lysaghts Hastings, in August, 1971. Their names are as follows: left to right: Robyn Mair, Cheryl Haddock, Wayne Stockton, Michelle Drury (holding stake), Jamie Flood, Gary Davidison, Lisa Drury. back, from left: Lyell Reeves (teacher), Roslyn Minns, Eleanor Unthank, Sally Gibson. DESCRIPTIONThis image shows ten children and one man posing for a photograph while planting a tree. The tree has black plastic around its base. Everyone has big smiles. A girl on the right, wearing a white pullover, skirt and stockings, is using a spade. Another girl, beside the tree, is holding a long stake. All the children are dressed in winter clothes. Large pine trees are in the background.
