HISTORY

This series of photographs was taken by Shirley Davies in April 2003 of the town of Hastings and shows the Western Port Hotel, lawyers, fruit, butchers and jewellery shops as well as the Post Office, Police Station and Railway Station.

DESCRIPTION

These six images show street scenes and private and public buildings in a town. The signs on the buildings include, Western Port Hotel, Hastings Fruit Supply, Lawyers, Quality Butchers, Western Port Jewellery, Post, Hastings Railway Station and Hastings Police Station.
