HISTORY

This is a photograph of Lothian House. Picket fences were rare in this era. This photograph comes from the Joan Lynch Collection.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a weatherboard house with a four posted verandah across the front. An open door is in the centre of the building with a set of windows on either side. A picket fence is across the front with a small open gateway. A man, woman and two small children are standing in front of the fence, posing for the photo.
