This badge would have been sold by the Red Cross during World War 1. This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria

DESCRIPTION

Circular shaped badge with a tin concave shaped back with a metal pin. The front of the badge is decorated with the image of a nurse in an oval shaped medallion with the red cross placed behind the portrait and a red border. The words "OUR DAY NATION & HONOR" are printed around the edge.
