This badge was sold by the Red Cross in 1918. This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria

DESCRIPTION

Circular shaped badge with a tin concave shaped back with metal pin. The front of the badge is decorated with the Red Cross flag on a gold background and the words "AUSTRALIAN RED CROSS APPEAL 1918" printed in red along the bottom.
