HISTORY

This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria

DESCRIPTION

Circular shaped badge with a tin concave shaped back with a metal pin. The front of the badge is decorated with the colours of the Italian flag in green, white and red with a coat of arms bearing the red cross and a crown above. Below is a gold circle and a red cross with the words printed "ITALIAN RED CROSS"
