HISTORY

This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria. Badge issued in support of the Belgian allies involved in World War 1.

DESCRIPTION

Circular shaped badge with tin concave back and a metal pin. The front of the badge is decorated with a Belgian flag which is black, yellow and red in colour. The print reads "FOR BELGIUM AND HONOR" against a blue background. The outer rim is edged in white.
