HISTORY

This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria.

DESCRIPTION

Circular shaped badge with a tin concave back and a metal pin. The front of the badge is decorated with the French flag in blue, white and red on a gold background. The red cross is at the bottom of the badge with the words "FRENCH RED CROSS" printed in blue at the top.
