HISTORY

This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria. It promotes the Independent Order of Rechabites, Victoria District.

DESCRIPTION

Circular shaped badge with a metal concave back and a metal pin. The front is decorated with a pale green background with a black strip around the rim with the words "INDEPENDENT ORDER OF RECHABITES - VICTORIA DISTRICT" Letters IOR in the centre.
