HISTORY

This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria.

DESCRIPTION

Circular shaped badge with a tin concave back and a metal pin. The front of the badge is decorated with the image of a nurse standing at the side of a patient in a bed with a window in the background, in white. The background is gold with a red border around the edge with the words "HOSPITAL DAY FOR CHARITY" printed in white.
