HISTORY

This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria. A badge of support for the war effort in World War 1 in Australia.

DESCRIPTION

Circular shaped badge with tin concave back and a metal pin. The front is dark blue with a gold rim with a map of Australia in white surrounded by five white stars with gold rims. In the map are the words "I WILL HELP UNTIL THE WAR IS WON" in red.
