HISTORY

This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria. This badge commemorates Anzac Day.

DESCRIPTION

Circular shaped badge with a tin concave back and a metal pin. The front is white with blue sea in the background and a soldier in khaki in the foreground holding a rifle and standing on a rocky shore. "LEST WE FORGET" is written around the top in red.
