HISTORYCommemoration medal for the coronation of King George V in June 1911. This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria.
DESCRIPTIONCircular aluminium medal embossed on both sides. Front shows silhouettes of busts of King George V and Queen Mary, surrounded by their names on the edge. On the back are the British and Australian flags,crossed with a crown between them and the word "CRAIGS" above. Below the flag is the inscription "in commemoration of the Coronation June 1911"
