HISTORY

Bread slicer dating from about 1920, donated by Mr. Jack Danaher. Found under the stage of the Hastings Hall.

DESCRIPTION

Wooden bread slicer with tray and bread holder and sliding wooden panel holding a metal blade. Made from various sized pieces of wood which have been machined and screwed or glued together. Has wing nut slice size adjuster on which is stamped "Modern Seatings Sydney"
