HISTORYMade for the coronation of King George V in 1911. This badge was one of a collection of badges and medals collected by Mrs May Cochran and consists mainly of memorabilia associated with the Great War (W.W.I) and commemorative events in the early twentieth century history of Australia and Victoria.
DESCRIPTIONBrass badge in the shape of the letters G and R intertwined with the Roman numeral V in between and a crown on top. The badge is on a stick pin, and pinned to two pieces of ribbon, one purple, one black.
