HISTORY

Used in Campbell's general store in Hastings, Vic. from about 1895 for weighing lollies.

DESCRIPTION

Small set of metal scales with narrow rectangular cast iron base and decorative weighing gauge. There is one shallow round copper bowl fixed to the frame, and one deep round copper bowl with a lip. Stamped on the base are the words "W & T Avery to weigh 2 lb.
