HISTORY

This series of eight snap shots was produced by The Rose Stereograph Co. for Ralph G. Mentiplay, a newsagent and grocer in Hastings. These photos consisted of eight different views of Hastings. Printed at the bottom on the left-hand side is: “Hastings Swimming Pool”. The photos were taken by Mr R. Malouf in 1939.

DESCRIPTION

Black and white photograph of a swimming pool featuring the diving board in the foreground. Two buildings are depicted in the background. People can be seen sitting and standing on the far side of the pool. A tall light pole is at the centre of the photo. Grass is in the foreground.
