DESCRIPTION

Souvenir mug of the coronation of George VI. Mug is cream in colour and on one side has insignia of silhouette of George VI and Queen Elizabeth encircled by the word “George VI - Elizabeth . Coronation . May 1937”. Flanked by a British flags. roses and thistles, and crown and sceptre at the bottom. On the other side is the crown and sceptre in front of the British flag and encircled by the words “George VI King and Emperor”. Has a leaf pattern on the handle.
