Wording on jar with decorative boarder reads “Sharpe Bros.’ ... “Trade Mark” “Largest Manufacturer in Australasia”. At the bottom are the words “Caution - persons damaging, retaining or trading with this jar are liable to be prosecuted”.

DESCRIPTION

Circular stoneware beer jar coloured beige with conical light brown top. Screw stopper and rusted metal handle. Makers name and decoration in black within a decorative boarder. Decoration consists of 2 arms holding glasses of bear, medals, a lighthouse, a sinking ship and crude maps of Australia and New Zealand.
