A local citizen of Stony Point being given approval to lease a piece of Crown land for private purposes

DESCRIPTION

A letter written to Mr R F Peterson by the Secretary of Lands in reply to an application for the lease of a piece of land on the foreshore at the Stony Point jetty for the purpose of building an ice-house. The addressee’s name and place is at the bottom of the letter and the letter is dated Melbourne 9 Dec 1898. The signature is missing
