An apple packing competition was one of the events at the Royal Melbourne Show

DESCRIPTION

A printed certificate for the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria at the Royal Melbourne Show, 1952, special prize awarded to Laurice Cusworth for third best packed case of apples, class 1747, no. 812, “Louis Monod, Secretary”. Society’s logo is at the top, and the printer’s name “H. Hearne & Co. Pty. Ltd., Printers, Melbourne” at the bottom. On the back is written in ink “donated by Laurice Jiket nee Cusworth”
