HISTORY

This is Hannah Mirabella’s house. Hannah was the daughter of Sebastiano Mirabella and Matilda Kearns. The original photograph comes from the P. Perrott Collection and was photographed/copied by Dr Bruce Bennett for the purpose of research or publication.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a partly built house with two men standing on the roof trusses and a group of approximately seven men standing beside the house. No iron is on the roof but the end wall is clad in weatherboard as well as part of the side. Two window frames are along the side wall and another frame is standing against the side wall. Building materials are spread around the ground.
