HISTORY

This was the Robinson home, situated at 95 Salmon Street, Hastings. Martha Robinson lived here. The original photograph comes from the Bill Sheedy Collection and was photographed/copied by Dr Bruce Bennett for the purpose of research or publication.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a timber house with a galvanized iron roof sitting behind a wire mesh fence. Two sets of windows are on either side of a wooden door. Wooden palings are along the side wall on the left-hand side of the house. A electricity meter box is on the front wall to the right of the front door. A name plaque is on the left of the door. A concrete footpath runs across the front of the image and a large tree is on the footpath. A bitumen street is in the foreground. Part of a large sign can be seen on the footpath to the far left of the image.
