HISTORYThis boat is at the Hastings pier. The photograph comes from Walker Collection and was photographed/copied by Dr Bruce Bennett for the purpose of research or publication.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a two-masted boat at the end of a pier. A man, dressed in a dark coloured suit, white shirt, tie and hat, is leaning against the pier railing. He is looking at the camera. A small crane is at the end of the pier. Two men are standing at the end of the pier on the left-hand side. Rail tracks are running down the centre of the pier. Written in black ink at the bottom right-hand side of the image is “Hastings”.
