HISTORY

This property was the southern boundary of Martha Jane King’s ‘Bunguyan’. (see Valda Cole’s book “Pioneers & Preachers”.) It was also owned later by Frank Gold (also known as John Daniel Wilkinson) and his wife Harriet Gold.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a white weatherboard cottage with a red corrugated iron roof. Two white chimneys are at the front of the house. A small porch with lattice is across the front is on the left-hand side of the cottage. Shrubs and creepers are across the front of the house and a picnic table is on the lawn.
