HISTORYThis is the Tyabb Football Club and the photo was taken in Hastings. The names of the men are as follows: Back row: Stan Thornell, Jack Covey, Bill Jerimia, George Walker, Tassie Petersen, Bob Torey, (Tyabb Shop owner), Alec Barkley, Reg Borley, Olli Petersen, Colin Mentiplay, George Slocombe and Arnold Noble. Front row: Umpire ?, Captain Benton, Norm Petersen, Bert Noble, Albert Taylor, School Teacher Aslop, George Williams and Ernie Walker. The original photograph was taken by George Williams and was copied/photographed by Dr Bruce Bennett for the purpose of research or publication.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a football team standing and sitting on grass, posing for a photo. There are thirteen men standing in the back row and ten men sitting and kneeling in the front row. One man on the far left and two men on the far right in the back row, are wearing three piece suits, white shorts, ties and hats. The player in the middle of the front row is holding a football, most other players have their arms crossed. Tall trees are behind the group.
