HISTORY

This is one of three chairs donated to the Hastings-Western Port Historical Society by Mr Jim Harris. A donation of $500 was received from the Bittern Sunday Market Inc to be used for the restoration of the chairs, which was done by Glenn Upholster on Flinders Road, Tyabb. The cost was $135 each. These chairs are in the Pioneer Cottage, which is part of the Hastings-Western Port Historical Society complex. P816.1 shows the chair before restoration and P816.2, after restoration.
