HISTORYThese fishing boats are from Hastings in the Western-Port and are sheltering in a bay on Churchill Island. The original photograph comes courtesy of Churchill Island and was photographed/copied by Dr Bruce Bennett for the purpose of research or publication.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows four boats anchored in a bay. The two fishing boats in the foreground have tall masts. A pole structure with fishing nets spread across it, is on the foreshore. A small shed is to the right of the nets. The land rises up from the bay and has tall trees scattered across it. The words “Prima Donna Hastings” is printed across the stern of the boat in the foreground.
