HISTORY

This is the Hastings Jetty at Hastings in the Western Port.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a wooden jetty with rail tracks running down the centre. Fishing nets are hanging over the rail on either side. Several men are repairing the nets. Small wooden fishing boats are tied up to the right-hand side of the jetty. Water is in the background and land can be seen in the far background. Printed across the bottom of the photo in white ink is: ‘“Pier” men repairing nets’.
