HISTORY

Augustus and Annie Haebich migrated from Germany and settled at “Stanton” Bittern early in the nineteen hundreds. He was a butcher who travelled the district with horse and cart, selling his meat. On the back of the image is written in ink and pencil “Johann August Haebich on butchers cart at “Stanton” Bittern Victoria” “Donated by Merle Haebich”

DESCRIPTION
