This photograph comes from the Arthur Peterson Collection. It was taken at Frankston at Christmas, 1949. Stamped on the back of the photograph is ‘765u’. Written on the back in blue ink is: “Xmas 1949 at Frankston”.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a foal suckling from it’s mother. The legs of a person can be seen in the left-hand corner leaning against a fallen tree. Grass and straw are on the ground.
