HISTORYThis presentation of Life Governor of Hastings and District Bush Nursing Hospital was made to Dr John F. Williams. The man on the left is Rev Peter Kissick who was the Vicar of Holy Trinity Hastings. The man on the right is Mr A.E. Perrott. Dr Williams was a local popular doctor at Hastings for 23 years. The photographers details are stamped on the back of the mounting board.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows three men dressed in suits. The two men on the left are shaking hands and holding a document which reads: “Hastings and District Bush Nursing Hospital This is to certify that Dr John F. Williams was elected a Life Governor of Hastings and District Bush Nursing Hospital on 7th day of June 1968”. A grey-haired man on the right-hand side is watching the presentation.
