HISTORY

This man is Sebastiano Orsino. He was born in Catania, Sicily on 15 June, 1843, the son of Salvatore Orsino and Maria Mirabella. He came to Australia when he was 16 years old. He bought land in Hastings and was an orchardist a fisherman and builder. He died on April 20, 1934, aged 91 years. This photograph comes from the Napoli Collection.

DESCRIPTION
